Welcome back! Last post before I ended my semester break 😢. Huhu. This post is dedicated to my mom's famous Tat Nenas *at least among our family. I fell in love with this tarlets since I was little as my mom used to whipped up a batch or two for Hari Raya celebration. Since tomorrow I will be going back to KL,, she baked some so that I can survive during my first or second week of semester 2.
Fun fact, back then when I was studying in Taiping, she did the same thing as well. While my friends used to buy chips more, oreo and other similar snacks,, I have a big container of this pineapple tart to snack on. Sehari makan satu sambil counting days nak balik. Bila kuih dah nak habis tu,, ketahuilah hari bahagiamu akan tiba. Hehe
This picture was taken years ago sebab nak bagitau mak stok dah nak habis.Eat this after prep,, memang layannn. Since dah masuk universiti,, mama upgrade jadi tat nenas Nyonya style 😂. Recipe is still the same. ALERT! If you were to use this recipe but wanted to pipe,, use only 250g of tepung gandum. Tapi boleh juga tambah tepung jagung dan tepung kastard tapi mesti sum up jadi 250g juga tau.

Bahan A *satukan dan ayak
300 g tepung gandum
50 g tepung kastard
50 g tepung jagung

Bahan B
250 g majerin
50 g gula perang
1 tsp esen vanila

Jem Nenas
2 cawan Nenas kampung-diparut *nenas tak boleh terlalu masak klau tidak bnyak air
1 cawan gula perang
1 cawan agar-agar-rendam 
2 kuntum bunga cengkih
3 kuntum bunga lawang 
1 1/2 inci kulit kayu manis 

Cara Penyediaan :-

Untuk jem : Parut nenas dan asingkan sedikit air nenas tu. 

Satukan semua bahan jem dalam periuk dan masak dengan api sederhana smpai pekat.

Sejukkan sebelum jadikan bulat-bulat kecil.

Untuk tat : Satukan Bahan B dan kacau hingga sebati dan kembang.

Masukkan Bahan A. Gaul sehingga sebati dan adunan membentuk sebiji doh.

Canai dan terapkan menggunakan acuan tat. 

Letakkan jem nenas yang dibulat-bulatkan tadi.

Bakar dengan suhu 180C selama 10-15 minit bergantung kepada oven.
